Assalamu ‘Alaikum Warahmat Allah Wabarakatuh,

One of the great teachings of Islam is that we humans should continuously recall the past in all its glory and pain. The word ”reminder or remember” is a constant feature throughout all of our rich traditions. In this post, which is particularly aimed at the youth, I would like to remind everyone, myself first and foremost, of what it means to have true ”CONVICTION” as an Ahmadi Muslim. In this regard, we need look no further than the magnificent conviction demonstrated by Hadrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif (radi Allahu ‘anhu). A name which literally invites the flowing tears of the muttaqi heart – the ”yaqeen,” as it were. For anyone reading this whose eyes have not fallen upon his blessed name – my brothers and sisters – ahead of you is an emotional, yet spiritually enriching journey.

Finally, I request that you each pray for Afghanistan. Blessed is a country which gave birth to an Abdul Latif (radi Allahu ‘anhu). Let me start with a short introduction to who Hadrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif (radi Allahu ‘anhu) actually was, before we reach his story, as told by no other than Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (‘alayhi al-salam).
